Honor Brunch

Breakfast has always truly been "the most important meal of the day" to me. Once a month, I am opening up the back patio of my home at The Greenwood for friends to come have BRUNCH!

Since starting Honor Meal over four months ago, doing 6 course meals for six to eight friends each week, I've learned more about myself. I've learned about a part of myself that loves doing these elaborate meals, getting the chance to cook and execute a vision. There have also been parts of me that I've discovered that have been hidden away over the years because of ridicule and I'm connecting more with my full-self as these come parts come into the light. To experience the tension of both success and failure in a very tangible way through these meals I've been able to experience a good and hard reality that has brought more connection within as I continue to honor myself and this process.

This endeavor has been a wonderful challenge as I've set out to connect with my heart through putting more of it into my love of cooking and welcome others to experience it.

Now, I'm ready to continue cooking more.

This is an opportunity for you to come experience the most important meal of the day.

What: An outdoor brunch of RSVP'ers to come anytime between 12:30-2:00 to have a meal with community.

Where: The Greenwood Estate Back Porch Patio – 3045 Bellinger Lane Medford OR

When: One Sunday a month from 12:30 to 2:00 guests are welcome to arrive, wrapping up around 3:00.

How: RSVP online and buy your ticket there. You're welcome to leave a tip following the meal with cash or CashApp: @Jonathanchillis

Why: To be fed an incredible brunch so that I, Jonathan, get to do what I love: cooking!

Who: RSVP'ers up to 14 max.

Please include in your RSVP any sensitivities, allergies, or restrictions (like: can't have hot food, or no fish, or no corn...) so that I can honor you.

The menu will be emailed to guests a few days before the event to show what options will be available and you'll decide when you arrive. There will be a small starter paired with a drink (mimosa-like) followed by a the choice of a savory main (egg/bacon dish) with a sweet side (waffle-like) to round out the palate.

Everyone who has RSVP'd and purchased tickets will arrive anytime between 12:30 and 2:00. Per your Ticket, you'll either be sat at a private table with your guests or the communal table!

Parking is located to the right side of the house when you first pull in to the driveway, bearing right at the fork. You'll be able to park anywhere alongisde the other cars parked in front of the "breeze-way" barn with lights on the front. Then walk to the back patio of the house where we'll be cooking and eating at tables.
